Portsmouth based on the south coast are one of the smaller clubs in the Premier League, the club gained premiership status in 2003 under Harry Redknapp and the support of chairman Milan Mandarić. The club finished in 13th, 16th, and 17th in the Premier league and won the F.A. cup in 2008.
The club played in the UEFA cup for the first time ever after the F.A. Cup win but Redknapp left for Tottenham. Tony Adams took over but only lasted a few months.
Portsmouth shirts are all blue.
