One of the smallest clubs in the league 92 Cheltenham were promoted to the league in 1999 under the stewardship of Steve Cotterill. After two seasons in bottom football league Town were promoted to the third tier of English football via the playoffs. The club then yo-yoed between the bottom two leagues and currently reside in the bottom league after relegation in 2009.
