Not football shirts but it’s a great new advert with Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres fighting out with shooting practice and lasers. It’s all advertising the new T90 boot.
As expected Manchester United’s new away shirt matches the design of the new home shirt but with black and a blue V on the front of the shirt. The design of the shirt is a reference back to the 1909 team who won the club’s first FA Cup.
After the big launch of the Manchester United home shirt a picture of the third kit has been leaked. It features the same design as the home shirt with the v on the chest. This time the shirt is black with a blue V.
One of the biggest kit launches this summer was always going to be the new Manchester United shirt and Nike have gone with a slightly different design with a black V on the chest. The v celebrates 100 years of Old Trafford which was on the shirts back in the 1909/10 season.
The V will also feature on the black shocks. The keeper shirt will be white with a V in red.

As we know AIG have some time been ready to pull out of the sponsorship of Manchester United. Replacing AIG is another American company AON. The company based in Chicago are based in insurance.

The deal will be affective for the start of the 2010-11 season. Details have not been released of the full package yet but it’s though to be around £80m over a 4 year period.
Plans are ready to launch Manchester United’s new Kit in Asia. United are set to tour Asia in the summer and this allows for a launch over in the fair east.
One or two pictures of the new shirt have been ‘doing the rounds’ on the Internet including an old school design with a large white V on the chest.
Manchester United are after a new sponsor, current sponsor AIG are not going to be continuing due the massive financial problems currently in the US. The company has been bailed out by the US government so it’s not really in the best interests of the company to be paying out for sponsorship of a Football team halfway around the world, that would be like UK tax payers paying for politicians to watch porn, ridiculous!
United are now actively seeking a new sponsor and reports from the telegraph have put Samsung as front runners. The South Korean electronics company already sponsor Chelsea and it’s unsure if sponsoring two teams in the league would be a conflict of interests. It does work is Scotland where Ranger and Celtic are both sponsored by Carling.
