It’s a classic shirt from a great era in the clubs history. Tonight Liverpool face dropping out the Champions League and if they somehow manage to pull through to the next round they’ll need to emulate some of the heroics shown by the Liverpool team of the 80’s.

In 1986 the team won the league, the FA cup and the league cup all in this now classic red shirt with sponsors Crown Paint.

Yes, Liverpool have another new shirt, this time it’s an away shirt for European games.

It’s the usual combination of Adidas and Carlsberg.

Liverpool have already released their away kit for the season but here is a picture of a leaked third click. The official 3rd kit will be released on August 27th.

Liverpool’s new away shirt for the 2009/2010 season is eagerly awaited by a lot of fans and a release date of May 13th has been set. Pre-orders are now been taken for the shirt that is being marketed as the the 12th man.

The shirt is black with gold trim and is going to replace the green kit that’s had a bit of stick this season.

Liverpool are current in talks with beer giants Calsberg to secure a new shirt sponsorship. The could top as much as £60 million which breaks the previous records held by Manchester United and Chelsea for deals with AIG and Samsung.

As the season starts to come to an end we are seeing more and more leaked football kits for the 2009/2010 season. We’ve seen the New England kit 2009/2011 already been leaked, the Arsenal green away kit and this week there has been news and pictures on the new Liverpool kit.
