Football Shirts

The New England shirt is almost upon us now and today there have been a further leak of the shirt with some really great videos released by Umbro.

The kit looks really traditional, we knew that Umbro were going back to old school in the kit taking inspiration for the new crest from the 1950’s and tailoring the shirt rather than designing it.

The picture leaked shows England captain John Terry and the England number one David James in the dark green goalkeepers shirt.

As the season starts to come to an end we are seeing more and more leaked football kits for the 2009/2010 season. We’ve seen the New England kit 2009/2011 already been leaked, the Arsenal green away kit and this week there has been news and pictures on the new Liverpool kit.

Also we’ve had the leaked kit for the 2009/2010 season for Everton. We’ll be keeping up to track with the leaked kits over the coming weeks on the blog.

Following on from the blog post last week about the new england kit 2009-2011 the FA have announced a launch date of the 1st of April. Pre orders are now being taken but there is still no official pictures released of the shirt.

Umbro have blogged about the development of the new shirt with designer Chirs Hunt. What is revealed is that the new shirt will have a new crest. Guesses are that pictures of the shirt will be leaked before launch. If they are we’ll have pictures of of the new England kit 2009-2011.

The New England shirt for 2009 - 2011 has been leaked on the internet and the feed back so far has been poor to say the least. The shirt does look like a training top and uneven with the crest and the umbro logo on one side with nothing on the other.

The sleeves are not mostly red with an England badge on the right sleeve imprinted in red. Also it looks like the shirt will retail at a RRP of £50 which is well above previous shirts.
